On August 7, 2026, members of Rotary Club of Kamuning East visited the children of CRIBS Foundation, Inc. in Antipolo for Project HUGS, Hope, Understanding, Giving, and Support, bringing along donations to help meet the foundation's urgent needs.
The children welcomed the club with a dance. A simple, joyful surprise from kids whose lives haven't always been easy at all. It was a reminder that hope often arrives in small, unexpected moments.
These are children who've had it harder than most. Despite the odds, that didn't stop them from spreading warmth and glow and bringing HOPE for everyone. . We came thinking we'd be the ones giving something. We left carrying more than we brought.
This Rotary Year we're focused on Creating Lasting Impact, and CRIBS reminded us that impact doesn't always come from a big program. Sometimes it's just going back. Project HUGS isn't a one-and-done thing for us, we're already planning our next visit.
